Dear Touch community, Club Presidents,
Please forward this email to all your paid members. The European Federation of Touch is organising the European Touch Senior Cup, over 3 days: 8-10 October 2021. The competition will take place in Coimbra University in Portugal. Time and match format Match will last 40 minutes on a full size. Touch NL has pre-emptively made an expression of interest for a Senior mixed team. Teams should wear numbered and matching kits. Eligibility The tournament will be a permit type of competition and the teams participating will not be labelled as "National" team. Except age criteria for eligibility, there are no other geographic criteria of selection. As a consequence, this tournament will not grant any cap. To apply players must be at the required age by the 31st December 2021. For example, a player born on the 5th october 1991 will turn 30 on the 5th October 2021 and is eligible. What we need from you? Organisation: If you are willing to organise as team manager, Coach or other, please get in touch with the Touch NL committee ASAP. Touch NL Support Touch NL is supporting and pulling all resources in the development of the OPEN series and promoting younger players opportunities to play and improve. All our coaches will support in priority the Touch NL trainings and our open teams in the perspective to prepare for the EURO 2022. We can help to facilitate contacts to organise fields and facilitate the finances but we expect the team manager and the coach to organise it for the Senior team. We would like to point out that the organisation of training and games for this Senior event should be done outside of any other touch NL training organised. We expect as well that all participants to this senior event will double down on trainings and participate to all trainings organised for the open team this summer. Thanks a lot!
